Top Tips for Healthy Feet

Wash your feet daily in mild soapy water, dry thoroughly particularly between toes and apply a moisturising footcream (but never between the toes to avoid athlete's foot).

Always trim your toenails straight across, never at an angle or down the edges to avoid ingrown toenails.

Change your socks daily, cotton or wool are best.

Be shoe savvy. Wear high heels and pointed shoes for special occasions only, and always wear the right shoes for the job.

If you need to wear heels at work wear comfortable shoes to and from the office. If you’re going on a night out in heels, consider popping a pair of fold up ballet pumps in your bag to change into.

Wear flip- flops to avoid catching athlete's foot and verrucae when using public areas such as gym showers, swimming pools, hotel bathrooms and spas.

Don't wear flip-flops all the time, they don't provide enough support and can give you foot arch and heel pain.
